The center of the studio for art making...easel painting, stools, /materials of the day/ and freedom to express oneself while enjoying the arts. Consider this welcoming space for semi-private lessons, and more! ( this is open to *Art After School* students
Front YARD Fun
Large court for basketball, and outside sports. Safe and quiet charming country space for afternoons after school.
Old River Art offers a variety of programs that provide safe, fun and nurturing environments filled with exciting, hands-on activities as well as a quiet, safe, secure environment that promotes social, emotional and creative growth.
Elementary School Program 2008-2009
Monday - Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Weekly Rates: $60 Afternoons After School
2 Days/Week: $40 Afternoons After School
$20/per 2 hour session Art After School
*Afternoons After School is offered to all area students, public, private and home schooled

Creative Afternoons at Old River Art
For children in grades K-6
An exciting and dynamic school-age program designed to meet the demands of today's working families. At Old River Art's studio, Shelley offers a nurturing and enriching quality childcare for children both after school and on "School's Out" days. Programming is available for children in grades K-6, with flexible hours and transportation available for Pocahontas Elementary and Pocahontas Middle Schools students using the bus routes.
As a dedicated and caring professional Shelley takes pride in also making accommodations to serving children with special needs.
